AI Recommended Pricing
AI Recommended Price is a pricing model applicable for IBM ISS (Logo) TLS offering
component line items which are newly added to a customer Agreement.
The AI Recommended Price model is designed to calculate market competitive net prices for New & Upsell TLS component line items on Conga quotes, thereby reducing workload for sellers, reducing the need for special bid requests, and speeding up bid cycle time.

Expert Care Renewal Prices
The Expert Care price for a renewal in Conga is based on three factors: the associated current hardware list price; an Expert Care renewal percentage of hardware; and the price discount the client received for the purchase of the hardware at the point of sale.
The Expert Care renewal percentage of hardware may be different by Expert Care offering and Country based on product specific factors which may be updated periodically. Please see attached FAQ for further information.

Quote Validity and Late Renewal Price Uplift
IBM has implemented a 3% renewal price uplift for any late renewal opportunities. Time is of the essence to get renewals in before the expiration date to avoid this uplift and capitalize on the on-time renewal rebate. Last Price Paid for Renewals
Last Price Paid (LPP) is a pricing model applicable for IBM ISS (Logo) TLS offering component line items which are up for renewal on an existing customer Agreement.
The LPP model is designed specifically for customer renewals which often contain a mix of customer support offerings from IBM’s broad portfolio. By standardizing annual renewal price increases, IBM intends renewal prices will be more predictable and explainable, resulting in faster renewal cycle times; fewer special bid requests; and a simplified bid approval process.

IBM FlashSystems supply update transition to new models
BM FlashSystem supply update: transition to new generation models
Shipments for IBM FlashSystem 5600, 7600, and 9600 are ramping up, with strong supply and lead times as low as 40 days, enabling faster deployments and improved deal velocity. These systems deliver enhanced features and greater value, making them the preferred choice for new opportunities.
At the same time, due to ongoing market constraints, the previous 5300, 7300, and 9500 models are being withdrawn.
Guidance for 2Q and future opportunities involving older models:
1. New quotes for IBM FlashSystem 5300 / 7300 / 9500
New quotes should only be requested for existing opportunities requiring reconfiguration.
Pricing systems will reject new quote requests unless accompanied by an approved exception.
2. Existing firm order backlog
IBM continues to fulfill the existing backlog.
Some orders have already shipped, with others scheduled for May and June, and remaining shipments expected during 3Q.
Shipment dates will be updated as additional supply becomes available.
3. Quoted but non-firm orders
Non-firm orders are expected to ship no earlier than 4Q.
Where timelines are critical, partners should actively transition these opportunities to IBM FlashSystem 5600 / 7600 / 9600.
