IBM has announced a new promotion that offers an additional upfront margin on eligible P10 Scale-out Value Seller transactions when replacing P7 or P8 server.

The intent of the promotion is to help move the last POWER7 and POWER8 clients to Power10. IBM sales teams and Business Partners should work together to find ways to use the increased margin to help clients with challenges they have moving to Power10, such as offsetting the cost of migration services or costs of testing older code on Power10 and lowering the price to the customer.
