The NCA team & I have decided to run a webinar series that will focus on best practices in the New Client Acquisition (NCA) & Small and Medium Business (SMB) spaces. We have gotten feedback from the BPs that they want to work and grow in these spaces but would like more enablement/help. This webinar is here to be the first step to assist them in success in these spaces.

Attached above is a word document that will be the template for an email to your respective BPs. Webinars are held once a month, on the second Thursday of each month, 12:00pm - 12:45pm ET, through March 13, 2025. Each month will be focusing on a different brand, starting with Data & AI.

PROMOTION! Sweep the Floor of P7 and P8 with new P10 Scale-out

IBM has announced a new promotion that offers an additional upfront margin on eligible P10 Scale-out Value Seller transactions when replacing P7 or P8 server.

The intent of the promotion is to help move the last POWER7 and POWER8 clients to Power10. IBM sales teams and Business Partners should work together to find ways to use the increased margin to help clients with challenges they have moving to Power10, such as offsetting the cost of migration services or costs of testing older code on Power10 and lowering the price to the customer.

Increase Value Seller Preferred Discount % on S1012 & S1014 - effective 10/29/24

Effective October 29, 2024, the Value Seller Preferred discount percentage will increase 6% on the S1012 (MT 9028) and S1014 (MT 9105).  This change will align the discounts with our other Scale-Out systems.  This is a permanent change to the discount level and is not a promotion.  
 
Any existing Value Seller-Preferred bids for the S1012 or S1014 would need to be resubmitted in order to receive this additional discounting.  All currently approved bids are valid until expiration.

IBM Power 6% Price Increase January 1, 2025

The price increase will not become effective until January 1, 2025, providing clients the necessary time they need for hardware and software purchases to be closed this year at lower prices.

IBM Price Increase Effective January 1, 2025

IBM will be increasing pricing effective January 1, 2025 on several families of Storage products.
Flash, ESS, Fusion, Virtual Tape Libraries, Misc Tape, SVC and Storage SW will have a 6% price increase.
