The NCA team & I have decided to run a webinar series that will focus on best practices in the New Client Acquisition (NCA) & Small and Medium Business (SMB) spaces. We have gotten feedback from the BPs that they want to work and grow in these spaces but would like more enablement/help. This webinar is here to be the first step to assist them in success in these spaces.
Attached above is a word document that will be the template for an email to your respective BPs. Webinars are held once a month, on the second Thursday of each month, 12:00pm - 12:45pm ET, through March 13, 2025. Each month will be focusing on a different brand, starting with Data & AI.

IBM Changes to Manufacturing for Power and Storage
IBM manufacturing will be going through a transition in April and will not build or ship any Power servers or Storage during the month of April due to this transition. If you have end users that require Power or Storage in April or early May please get them to order in March. We can price and place orders in April but nothing will ship.

IBM Power Sweep the Floor Promotion for 1H 2025
IBM has re-announced the Sweep the Floor promotion to the Americas Geography effective February 3, 2025. This promotion offers an additional upfront margin on eligible Power10 Scale-out Value Seller transactions when replacing POWER7, POWER8 and/or POWER9 systems.
The intent of the promotion is to help move POWER7, POWER8 and POWER9 clients to Power 10. IBM sales teams and Business Partners should work together to find ways to use the increased margin to help clients with challenges they have moving to Power 10, such as offsetting the cost of migration services or costs of testing older code on Power10 and lowering the price to the customer.
Business Partners work with your Distributors to certify your eligibility for this promotion and complete the requirements to receive the promotional margin.

Build to Order and April Availability
IBM has plans to have limited customer order shipping capability in April due to an IT transition. Shipments will be focused on backlog recovery in Week 1 only. Orders received after March 10 for High End products and March 17th for Scale-out products will be scheduled to ship in May/June once transition is complete. Any orders with April or May install requirements should be firmed/shipped in March prior to to the transition.
The new build-to-order model is also discussed along w/ shipping lead times for High Velocity and High-End products. Please make sure all orders are placed in time for shipment in March should you need an April or May install.
