IBM Power Sweep the Floor Promotion for 1H 2025
IBM has re-announced the Sweep the Floor promotion to the Americas Geography effective February 3, 2025. This promotion offers an additional upfront margin on eligible Power10 Scale-out Value Seller transactions when replacing POWER7, POWER8 and/or POWER9 systems.
The intent of the promotion is to help move POWER7, POWER8 and POWER9 clients to Power10. IBM sales teams and Business Partners should work together to find ways to use the increased margin to help clients with challenges they have moving to Power 10, such as offsetting the cost of migration services or costs of testing older code on Power10 and lowering the price to the customer.
Business Partners work with your Distributors to certify your eligibility for this promotion and complete the requirements to receive the promotional margin.
Select offer code WWSCO10 (US & LA), WWSCO10C (CA) on eligible scale-out ePricer Value Seller bids
Attach the completed certification letter to the bid
Eligible systems:
9028-21B Power System S1012
9105-22A Power System S1022
9105-22B Power System S1022
9105-41B Power System S1014

IBM announced the new IBM Brocade SAN24B-7 24 port Gen 7 switch on 6/10/25
IBM announced the new IBM Brocade SAN24B-7 24 port Gen 7 switch on 6/10/25. This is a good affordable entry point for partners that want to sell SAN Gen 7 technology for cyber-resilient IBM Flash solutions. It scales from 8 ports up to 24 ports for on-demand flexibility. In some configurations, it's actually priced LESS than the existing Gen 6 (SAN24B-6).
The entry-level SAN24B-7 (8696-P24 ) switch offers enterprise‑level features at a lower cost, providing enterprise class reliability,
performance, and security to ensure continuous availability, optimize resources, and
safeguard the SAN from cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
