This is a good affordable entry point for partners that want to sell SAN Gen 7 technology for cyber-resilient IBM Flash solutions. It scales from 8 ports up to 24 ports for on-demand flexibility. In some configurations, it's actually priced LESS than the existing Gen 6 (SAN24B-6).
The entry-level SAN24B-7 (8696-P24 ) switch offers enterprise‑level features at a lower cost, providing enterprise class reliability,
